At its core, Full Moon, Baby! is a film about trust. While the supernatural elements provide the catalyst for the story, the heart of the film lies in the fragile, often absurd things we do to avoid the difficult, silent truths in our relationships.
Visually, we took a lot of inspiration from a lot of 80s werewolf movies like An American Werewolf in London, specifically the red and blue colour palette that enhances the surreal other-wordly vibe of the film. Even Mike’s staple red hoodie is a less than subtle nod to little red riding hood.
My goal was to combine all these elements to create a cinematic experience that is ethereal and surreal, yet remains undeniably and awkwardly human.
